Thanks for the patch. Autoconf 2.70 is over a year old so this is well-worth
considering to keep from distressing people who build groff from source. I
want to confirm that the `m4_foreach_w` is supported by Autoconf 2.68 (or its
prerequisite m4 or whatever) before applying it. 2.68 is the earliest version
we claim to support.
Nevertheless, this bug seems to be a duplicate of bug #61059.
