Hi Nikita,

I've pushed these changes to groff's "post-1.23.0" branch.

Setting this to "Ready for Test" since we don't really use that status.  In
this case, it means I'd like you to test it, and also that it needs to be
merged onto master (after 1.23.0 final is tagged).
