Follow-up Comment #12, bug #58653 (project groff):

Hi hackerb9,

It's closed already, with status "Rejected" (my new name for "Wont Fix"
[sic]).

> My request for a brief quick reference guide does not appear to fit well
with the groff project's current goals.

Having acquired some familiarity with _mdoc_ recently, I must disclose to you
the distinct possibility that this macro language does not avail itself of
brief summary.

Its macro argument reparsing feature is unique among *roff packages (at least
those in wide distribution), it layers its own rules for punctuation handling
on top of the ones used by the formatter, and I haven't counted, but I think
it has more than 66 macros, which means you _couldn't_ summarize them in a
single column of type on 1 page at a comfortable type size.

There are 25 macros for quoting/bracketing things alone.

_man_ is smaller. Come to the Dark Side. We have cookies. 3;)
