The problems I observed and which motivated me to revert this patch were
likely not ps2ps's fault.

_grohtml_ just kinda sucks.  See bug #65961.

Also, Morten Bo Johansen just brought to my attention that that PSUtils has
been rewritten from some language producing ELF to Python, and it promply shat
itself all over our builds with hyperventilation about the paper size.  If
there's one think Python programmers hate doing, it's giving any thought to
exception handling.  See bug #65985.

Rather than chase down that nonsense, I think it's better to narrow our
external dependencies and re-instate this change.
