Follow-up Comment #6, bug #66233 (group groff):

  I have resolved the issue myself by creating a shell script.

  A simpler solution would be to implement bug #55941.

  An example:

  With "test-groff" and man page "file-hierarchy.7" (in Debian testing):

test-groff -mandoc -t -ww -b -z file-hierarchy.7
file-hierarchy.7:547: error: boxed table does not fit on page 6; use .TS
H/.TH
with a supporting macro package

  With "test-nroff":

troff: backtrace: file 'file-hierarchy.7':635
troff:file-hierarchy.7:635: warning: [page 7, line 9, diversion '3tbd4,0',
line 0]: cannot break line
troff: backtrace: file 'file-hierarchy.7':710
troff:file-hierarchy.7:710: warning: [page 7, line 107]: cannot break line

  "nroff" is the most used command from "groff" as it is used in "man"
(Debian
package "man-db").

N.B. Also the "tmac files" where upstream forces the processors to repeat
removing comments each times the files are read (Sisyphean work).
