Subject: | Bugs using groff on Windows with -Tpdf and -m pdfmark |

Dear groff Team I have used groff for 25+ years to my complete satisfaction on Linux. Now I am forced to use Windows, and I successfully installed groff. There are no basic problems when generating postscript
output, but using the -Tpdf flag produces an error; groff -Tpdf -dpaper=a5 -P-pa5 -P-e -mm -m pdfmark -o1- converted.txt> rpsout.pdf
à Failed to open 'download', etc. (disregard the first 3 lines, they are debug info generated with .tm) The environment is set as: $env:path += ";E:\GROFF\bin;E:\PERL\perl\bin;E:\GHOSTSCRIPT\gs10.04.0\bin" to have groff, perl and ghostscript available. When I run the same input file without the -Tpdf to produce postscript, there are no problems, except that the clickable URL-Links generated by pdfmark are not working and shop up with extra pipe
symbols before and after the link text: When I use either version (-Tps or -Tpdf) on my Suse Leap Linux, the output is all correct, and no error messages appear. In suspect that the problem is that the file that contains the list of fonts to download into the pdf is not found, and the reason for this is likely that the folder structure of groff under windows
differs from groff on Linux; here is the path I found for download on the windows system: Hopefully you can suggest a workaround (other than to move the data to Linux for processing) or a correction. Many thanks. Kind regards Urs Urs Eggli
