Every email I get from the savannah bug tracker contains this footer:

  in the reply:

Your email client might be hiding this from you.  Gmail does that to me

True, that's misleading.  It dates from before the comment-by-mail
functionality was added to savannah earlier this year; they should probably
change it now.
