I'd like to contribute a little bit:
1. some remarks about booting the current release of
of the Native Oberon System (see http://www.oberon.ethz.ch/)
(it fairly easy by chainloading, i.e.:
chainloader = (hd0,x) + 1
where x is the the oberon partition number - 1.
I don't have yet an idea if the Oberon System is
multiboot compliant - BTW: where can I find the
multiboot specification).
and the corresponding partition types
0x4C (Decimal 76) AosFS (afaik this stands for Advanced Oberon Sytem File
System)
0x4F (Decimal 79) NatFS (Native Oberon File System)
see also: http://www.oberon.ethz.ch/betadocu.html#FS
2. Although I'm not a native speaker, I'm willing to proofread, but
I'm not (yet) an advanced GNU/Unix/Linux user and don't have
CVS access, but I had no big problems in texi2pdf'ing the
GRUB-manual from the 0.5.96.1 release.
How could I get my hands on grub-new.texi ?
regards and thanks a lot for GRUB
