Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone saw the following error with 0.5.97 :
31: File is not sector aligned
I hope i got the number correct. I found it odd to display that. It
happened after I copied linux partition to my new 40G disk. Grub
installed fine but it didn't show me the menu so I tried installing it
manually using install command. No errors. Then I used 'p' parameter and
I also tried specifying config file by hand - both attempts gave me that
afore mentioned error. Then I went and recompiled grub with --disable-ffs
and --disable-resierfs and it started working.
Btw, is --disable-reisersfs really working? I have noticed it still had
-DFSYS_REISERFS=1 on command line when building in stage2 dir. I know
that it builds different files, but I didn't have time to investigate it
further so I have just removed it from Makefile (-DFSYS_REISERFS=1 that
is).
Regards,
Goran
PS. I know I shouldn't be using install command but I am so used to it...
