Same story with OpenBSD 2.7. That's where you can help.

I think it never worked.

There is a patch to load OpenBSD over the network:

The author of the patch writes that "The GRUB patch is *not* a general
purpose fix for booting OpenBSD with GRUB."

Maybe you will be able to fix it. Look ar what is called "additional file
for grub". It contains some code for OpenBSD support. But it needs to be
better done in order to be included in the official version.

I think it's important not to break NetBSD and FreeBSD, so some kind of
testing on the recent versions of both would be nice.
