I just installed grub 0.5.96. AMD K7 with grub installed on an ext2
filesystem on IDE drive. When I boot, I get
the menu presented. If I select and entry, and type 'e' to edit the
command line, any new characters I try to type
on the end of the command line are printed as random garbage (and typing
return apparently results in none of
the new characters being seen).
