Hi,
I recently downloaded a new version of grub from CVS - version 0.90 which I
got from CVS on September 19. The old version of grub I had was a precompiled
binary from Debian - version 0.5.95. The new version built fine and seems to
work fine except that when running the Unix shell version of the new grub the
cursor always starts way over to the right of the screen and pushing up to
get the last command typed doesn't work. Everything else seems to work and
this problem does not show up when using the grub command line at boot time.
This problem show up with and without the "--no-curses" option and in both a
xterm and a linux console.
I suspect this is because of a change in how the console is set up between
these too versions. Any ideas what has changed an how to fix it. Is this a
known problem? Am I do something wrong? Let me know if you need more
information about my system.
Thanks,
Jonathan Hunt
