Only for information:

Hi! I could get again this Compaq servers, and  now I used grub-0.90.
The problems look so: Grub can see raid disks during booting from
stages(1..2)(like hd0). But does not see them under Linux OS(kernel -
2.4.12).(it does not see and hd? disk at all)

Little bit more information about raid cards and PC:

Compaq ML350 RAM 128 MB 

        Compaq system bios D11(09/25/2001)
        Proc 1 1.133/133 Mhz
        SCSI card without disks: Compaq Ultra3 BIOS 3.02 (c) 2000 Adaptec(7899A)


        Compaq Smart Array 431 Controller (rev,v1.02) (DEC 21554)
        1 Logical drive ~17 GB(2 scsi disks ~17gb) (raid 1)

        ServerWorks CSB5(rev 92)

Compaq DL360 RAM  128MB
        Proc 1,266/133 Mhz
        Compaq System BIOS - P21(06/13/2001)

        Compaq Integrated Smart Array Controller (v 1.42) (Symbios Logic(former 
NCR) )
        1 Logical drive ~17 GB(2 scsi disks ~17gb) (raid 1)

        ServerWorks OSB4
