Well, use the script `mkbimage':

http://corpus.polynum.org/admin/mkbimage

And see if El Torito and odd floppy formats work.
Verify if LBA works.
Verify if, as advertised, loading another stage1 (GRUB one or MS MBR or
boot sector) works.

As said, this compiles, but this is completely untested ;)
