GRUB versus Nforce220 |

Hi,
I'd like to report a bug concerning the grub and the lower memory area.
If you use motherboards with integrated video or other integrated devices
the lower memory area's are often use by this internal devices.
That's why using GRUB with such motherboards gives usually the error :
Error 28: selected item cannot fit into memory
I've have this now for my A7N266-VM (bios rev1004) motherboard with nforce 220
chipset , but when googling around I discovered several other people suffered
from the same problem I think I can speak from a bug.
(or an option in grub that should be considered implementing )
Nevertheless more and more linux distributions are beginning to use grub by
default ,but on the otherhand more and more motherboard manufacters are
implenting
all their devices. So if nothing happens linux will become more and more
userUNfriendly
instead of userfriendly.
Is there a solution ? (not by taking LILO solution ;-) )
Thanks,
K.
