[grub #44] GRUB does not work with SiS6326 video card

Message:
When using a SiS 6326 video card (8Mb memory), GRUB presents an ugly splash 
screen (just black and blue) with nothing but a RedHat logo and hangs, 
requiring a cold reboot (ie. Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work).

The machine does boot off the boot disk I created during RedHat installation, 
and after I install LILO.

I'm fairly confident that this has something to do with GRUB's interactions 
with the video card.

I apologise if this is already documented and/or fixed ... but I did search for 
it.
