Message:
Installed RedHat 9 on a machine with windows on and used
the default choice GRUB 0.93 for multi-boot selection.
My machine can only use USB keyboards and the BIOS supports
it (Phoenix BIOS).
The boot manager installed before choosing between dos and windows works, so 
the problem is within GRUB.
If I touch the keyboard during GRUB selection the computer totally hangs.
An interesting thing is that if I let the GRUB boot windows by timeout, the 
previous windows boot manager that loads now also hangs when I chose between 
dos and windows (which worked before GRUB was installed)
