Does it get fixed after working on the filesystem for some time? If
yes, this is probably a journalling problem, which would narrow down
the code I need to audit.

How big is a compressed image of /dev/hda2? If it is too big, can you
build an image of the first half megabyte, compress it and send it to
me (or better upload it somewhere).
