Grub on a CD

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the correct grub mailing list for this enquiry, so apologies if it isn't (and can someone point me to the correct one?)

I have compiled Grub from source, and now need to install it to a bootable cdrom.

I have read all about mkisofs and am happy with the syntax etc, the bit I'm very confused about is how to actually load grub onto the CD's MBR or equivalent.

Can someone post some idiot guide notes please?
