Feature in grub ?

Hello ,

This is regarding a feature in grub that enables one
to boot into a image (only for the next boot). I saw
some messages asking for this feature "the lilo -R
like feature" but I didn't see that in the manual nor
in the FAQ.

Does the latest version of grub have this feature ? If
not , would you have a suggestion on how this could be
accomplished using savedefault ?
