Booting from USB

Hello from Gregg C Levine
Some years ago, (Two or three), M-Systems launched a product it called
Disk On Key. It's one of their disk on chip products, and an ARM7 type
processor, all installed inside a fob with a USB connector at one end.

Some of the machines that have come out during the interim, now
include that idea, that of booting from USB, since the Disk On Key is
recognized as a specie of SCSI drive, via Linux, as is my Thumb Drive,
I've decided to ask that question. And that question is: Can GRUB boot
from a USB attached disk drive?
