How can I boot a bootable CD with GRUB?
There are a number of alternative ways, but the easiest is to use the El
Torito support now built into GRUB; for that you'll need the latest CVS
version---instructions on obtaining it are available at
http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=grub
If you build and install that version, `info grub' contains
straightforward instructions on making a bootable CD with grub.
I was able to find another method, which works on older versions of GRUB
(that you may already have installed) by searching for 'grub bootable
cd' on Google. (That may be a more appropriate forum for answering "how
to"-type questions---this list tends to be for bugs and development.):

Hope that helps!
