Update of bug #9629 (project grub):

                 Summary: Grub 0.95 with Chinese Character Displaying Support

Follow-up Comment #5:

We would like to have this in GRUB 2.  Please, can you try adapting your
patch for that?  Ideally, what we'd want is an implementation that is binary
compatible with gettext.

Btw, unicode support is already present (in gfxterm).
