Hello!
As I understand how the distribution channels, and those of us who are
building their own, using the Linux from Scratch procedures, they collect
Grub-Legacy from the same place as I did, ftp://alpha.gnu.org and the grub
folder inside the gnu one.

As for the patches, they come from the same place as your distribution did.
There should be a place for source code for the Grub arrangement that you
use. 

All of you otherwise not involved with Grub2 please feel free to chime in
here, technically we are talking about a release of Grub-Legacy that's been
customized.
