Details:
GRUB Legacy supported the ability to define multiple terminals and have a
"Press any key to continue" string appear on both terminals for a specified
timeout. This feature is critical in our labs for handling machine access for
both local and remote employees. Please bring back this feature so we can use
GRUB 2 successfully.
Our original menu.lst commands have these lines to make this happen:
serial --unit=0 --speed=115200 --word=8 --parity=no --stop=1
terminal --timeout=60 serial console
To facilitate this, I would also recommend adding back the "terminal" command
as a shorthand with the same effect as
"terminal_input $1;terminal_output $1".
