Thanks for the bug report. I will remove the -b option, it wasn't
strictly needed there.

I'm not sure what to do about this - the files are checked with
"sha256sum -c" so it is an essential requirement.
Is there any command available on FreeBSD for testing
sha256 sums? Maybe under a different name.
