I'm new to the list and would like to contribute a patch for a corner case.
I was trying to compile gtypist for the Rudix, an OSX package collection,
when I stumbled on a problem.
gtypist would compile but the spanish typing lessons would not load.
I would also suggest that the automake infrastructure is updated and a dependency on plain ncurses is added. It looks that that is enough with current versions of the ncurses library. (see the OSX port using brew)
