Hi,

Whilst trying to get gnucash working on slackware 9.0, I came across an
error reported by guile re: srfi-8.scm saying that if this was guile > 1.4,
that I should report the erroneous installation of said file.

The version of guile was the 1.6.3 package from slackware 9.0, but the file
will also be installed when compiling from source either version 1.6.3 or
1.6.4 guile.  Curiously, the slack package installs libqthreads, which the
source versions don't seem to know about. (?)
