yes, that was it. When building aur packages it automatically uses -j6.

Can you try running tests sequentially, with ‘make check’?

I’ve noticed this failure sometimes when running tests in parallel, but
I haven’t been able to find out what’s wrong.  (Looking at
test-suite.log, you can see that one of the downloads required for the
test did not terminate, hence the failure, but it’s not clear why.)

BTW, I uploaded guix (git version) on Arch Linux's AUR repository.
