Fixed in b9a95420abdf4ae7fe9a347031278a44ad6a1cce.

The problem was that the profile was built with inputs in the wrong
order.  Thus, ‘ld’ from Binutils would “win” over ‘ld’ from ld-wrapper,
hence the build failure above.
