Guile-SSH is not involved here though.

However, this may well be this ‘guix publish’ bug that was recently
fixed, whereby ‘guix publish’ without ‘--cache’ would send bogus HTTP
replies:

  https://issues.guix.gnu.org/54723

Could you confirm?
