Hm, how can I test this again?

I tried launching a daemon both on the remote and locally, with
something like:

sudo -E ./pre-inst-env ./guix-daemon --build-users-group guixbuild
--max-silent-time 0 --timeout 0 --log-compression none --discover=yes
--substitute-urls "https://ci.guix.gnu.org
https://bordeaux.guix.gnu.org"; --max-jobs=20

and the code edited doesn't seem to run (I put an (error 'hello) in
there and nothing happened).
