Thanks.  I've fixed that upstream with the patch below.

getopt.h is included in the tarball, but it is in the lib/
directory, so you may have to add "-I lib" to tell the compiler
to look there.  Changing the CFLAGS definition in Makefile.djg
like this might do it:

CFLAGS = -O2 -finline-functions -fomit-frame-pointer -I$(srcdir)/../lib
