current CVS Hurd and glibc (except libthreads)

Hi,

I have now a basic system installation with the current glibc and Hurd
system, well, with libthread downgraded.

It seems that reverse lookup of pathnames doesn't work (see last mails,
EIEIO). But when doing "cd /", the getcwd errors go away (yeah), because
the shell seems to be happy to construct the current directory name from
that base point on.

The other bug I found very soon is that "cat /some/file" gives a write
IPC error "msg too small". Apparently, similar failures happen when
programs try to read configuration files (ping can not lookup icmp service
in /etc/services, for example).

runsystem still dies early.

"otherwise", the system seems to be somewhat functional. Well, it runs
some stuff.

Thanks,
Marcus
