It's easy to write such a utility, but I don't think we need it to be
included in the distribution. The VGA driver in the Hurd is supposed to be
run at boot time, and not left until the system is shut down. So there is
no use for such a utility for the normal user. Even if a bug happens, it
would then be too late for the user to find out about such a utility.
