I guess you spotted this because of a blanket statement warning by gcc.
This file comes from the Linux kernel. The problem exists in 2.6.0-test3, too.
Can you make this bug report to the Linux kernel people and get it fixed
there? Then we will pick it up next time we update the file.
I hesitate to make the change in the Hurd repository, because it is bound to
get lost next time the file is updated. As it doesn't actually break anything,
it's better to just have it fixed upstream.
I am postponing this until we know that a Linux kernel is released with a fixed
version of the file. I am also assigning this to Roland, as ext2fs is his work.
