UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY error

I'm getting the following error when I try to boot hurd.

*******************************************************
ext2fs_check_if_mount: Unknown code P 2 while determining whether
/dev/hd2s3 is mounted.
/dev/hd2s3: The filesystem size (according to the superblock) is 526128 blocks
The physical size of the device is 524288 blocks
Either the superblock or the partition table is likely to be corrupt!

/dev/hd2s3: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
        (i.e., without -a or -p options)

*******************************************************

Here is the partition listing of my disk from linux.

*******************************************************
Disk /dev/hdc: 255 heads, 63 sectors, 2434 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hdc1 * 1 1013 8136891 7 HPFS/NTFS

/dev/hdc6 1913 2433 4184901 b Win95 FAT32

Partition table entries are not in disk order
*******************************************************

When I try to fix this problem from Linux by running fsck, Linux is
not complaining about anything. And this problem is not there when I
access this partition from linux.

Hurd is not able to fix this problem automatically.

I've got 2GB hurd partition. /dev/hdc3 in the above listing is the
hurd partition.

Any idea what is going on here? Is it something to do with partion size of hurd?

It is reporting the above error and displaying the regular promt and I
could do regular operations on hurd. But I was wondering wheather it
is a bug or some problem with my installation/hard disk.

Cheers
Suman.
