Correct.  The Debian hurd 20050513-7 package will make your system break
down sooner or later, sloppily stated.

No, unfortunately not.  So far, nobody tracked down what exactly is
causing these problems when upgrading from the `-6' hurd package to the
`-7' one.  Probably there are issues with the tool chain; perhaps there
is some incompatibility with binutils, but that's mostly guessing now.  I
once began to track that issue down, but it's rather difficult, as there
is no clear test case that would tell if everything is working or not.

If someone has any idea or wants to help in this area, please speak up.
