What exactly does the term "mostly functional implementation" mean?

Has anyone considered using GNU Portable Threads (http://www.gnu.org/software/pth/) with the Hurd? Maybe they are easier to become "fully functional" since they are "portable".

Does this mean you are done with the 2.6 driver code? ;-)
