I'll do! 

What I currently think about isn't big and shiny but rather the small things, 
like the breaking news section on the wiki main page. 

For example I just expanded the Contributing section slightly to include a six  
point list with stuff people can do: 
- wiki
- run a Hurd
- apps porting (debian)
- translators
- Hurd Mach
- Hurd L4
