Complexity? I still think that Git is actually very simple in its
fundamental concepts. It only seems complex to people who haven't yet
fully mastered these concepts...

Git sure feels less complex to me than CVS. (In spite of being vastly
more powerful.)

As for interaction between different systems, I don't think this is a
good idea in general. It can be useful when having to deal with a vastly
inferior system (SVN), or perhaps if dealing with something that you use
*really* occasionally. When regularily working on a project using a
certain VCS, it's a much better idea to actually get familiar with this
VCS...

I sure will learn Mercurial or Bazaar, if I ever get to work on projects
using these -- though of course I do hope I can avoid that :-)
