I have two issues at present. One is that the LibreJS Documentation
calls out different canonical URLs for popular licenses than what
LibreJS actually relies on.

The documentation is at:

http://www.gnu.org/software/librejs/manual/html_node/Free-Licenses-Detection.html

The software list is in js_checker/license_definitions.js

The other point is related. The software list doesn't have a
canonical URL for BSD 3-Clause Licence.

I heard some talk about using something more like a URN for
identifying licenses, which might solve the problem. Here we had a
case where the author had taken a BSD license and tweaked it enough
that the recognition text no longer matched, even though it was
intended to be BSD-like. (I also overheard discussion on the list of
the limitations of recognizing license due to the impracticality of
interpreting the meaning of apparently slight changes.)

Can you tell me what is likely to happen with these issues in the near
future, and what we could do to help?

Thanks,
Peter Olson
