Hello,
There is a problem with libtool 1.4.2 which prevents proper passing of
arguments to programs in the execute mode -- all argument receive
extraneous quotation. E.g.:
$ libtool --mode=execute /bin/echo test
"test"
$ libtool --mode=execute /bin/echo \"test\"
"\"test\""
The following patch fixes the problem for me:
$ libtool --mode=execute /bin/echo test
test
$ libtool --mode=execute /bin/echo \"test\"
"test"

* ltmain.in: Don't quote arguments in the execute mode as they
don't get passed via a shell.
Please apply.
Maciej
