I have two questions about my brandnew upgraded lily 2.0.1:
1. The "(music (scripts-coda))" doesn't seem to work anymore.
I used it for writing "D.S. al {CODA-SYMBOL}" above the staff. and now I don't
get the symbol but some numbers above the staff...
If convert-ly doesn't convert this automatically, then that's a bug
in my opinion.
You can read about the new support for text markups at
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.0/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Text-markup.html
What you probably want is
-\markup{ \musicglyph "scripts-coda" }
2. Sometime ago I saw in the manual, that is was possible to transpose
instruments using the {8 v.a.-SYMBOL} in the staff, but I don't find this
anymore. Could you give me a hint?
In the index of the reference manual, you will find an entry on "ottava".
