I hope you did the following:
- double click the Cygwin icon to start a cygwin command window.
- Enter ' sh -x /usr/bin/bug-lilypond-cygwin >& bug.txt ' and press enter.
This should produce a file bug.txt in the directory
C:\cygwin\home\<your login name>\
Exactly what do you mean by "it won't run ..."? Does anything happen?
If you right click on the file, does the menu include the following
options: "Edit source in Notepad ..." "Generate PDF ..."?
Please answer to the mailing list.

with and without spaces, no result from either.
