Produces this output:

Notice the strange brackets. These brackets disappear when \tupletUp is removed.


In separate news, this same snippet should fill one 6/4 measure. ly seems to be implying by the lack of a barline that I haven't filled it up completely.
\times 8/9 + 2/3 + 2/3 = 6/4, right?
