Hi,
I'm using (short time) a fedora core 3 system, with 64bit cpu (I do not know
whether is it important or not). But if I try to build the "running lilypond
for first time" code I get the following error message and because I'm not
using linux for a long time, I'm a little confused with that. I hope you can
help me with that. The output after command lilypond name.ly is:
GNU LilyPond 2.5.17
Processing `first.ly'
Parsing...
warning: No \version statement found. Add
\version "2.5.17"
for future compatibility.
Interpreting music... [1]
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Calculating line breaks... [2]
** (process:4275): WARNING **: No builtin or dynamically loaded modules
were found. Pango will not work correctly. This probably means
there was an error in the creation of:
'/etc/pango/pango.modules'
You may be able to recreate this file by running pango-querymodules.
(process:4275): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1561
(g_object_ref): assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
** (process:4275): CRITICAL **: file pango-engine.c: line 68
(_pango_engine_shape_shape): assertion `PANGO_IS_FONT (font)' failed
** ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed:
(glyphs->num_glyphs > 0)
aborting...
I really do not know what should do with that. Thanks a lot for your
help.
Martin Mucha.
P.S. sorry about my english ...
