- Partial bars:
You probably don't want to use \partial in the middle of a piece. In your
example, it tends to destroy the bar numbering. I think it's a better idea to
set Timing.measureLength directly.
Also, autobeaming is only designed to work as long as nothing strange happens
with time. IIRC, the beam isn't ended until the first note _after_ the last
beamed note; and since this note happens after the \partial command, the
engine gets confused and concludes that there can be no beam. In these
situations, it's always possible to manually beam instead.
- Barcheck warning: Again, \partial should usually not be done in the middle
of a piece. The problem is that one of the \partials changes the time, and
this confuses the barcheck preceding the other \partial happens.
You can easily remove the warnings, by removing the barchecks.
