It certainly is; have a look at issue #546.

Joe posted a patch to fix it, which seems to work fine (see image below).

There's a slight problem with the notehead positioning, but I have a
vague recollection that the gap between the heads is chosen
deliberately, since it tends to produce better looking chords.
