New issue 933 by percival.music.ca: automatic, daily out-of-build tests
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=933
It would be helpful to have an automatic build tester, doing code and docs,
out-of-tree, from a clean checkout each time. If it fails a build, it
should send a message to lilypond-devel identifying the people who
committed since the last build.
I'll do this (eventually), since I have the previous experience making such
systems, and the fast computer. Note to self: see previous work on the
Marsyas daily build system.
(the hardest part will be figuring out how to make lilypond wake up at a
specified time to run it... or does cron automatically wake up a sleeping
computer? this might be easier to figure out when I switch to freebsd)
